We have been to Chatsworth House a few times for beautiful walks in the countryside and to their Christmas markets which we absolutely loved (especially when Brown & Blond were there) but we've always wanted to go inside. When we discovered they had their exhibition on fashion through the ages by Gucci we knew it would be the perfect time to go and visit!
Day 2 - The Vatican
On day two we decided to go to Vatican city, a place I have always wanted to go to after reading Dan Browns Angels and Demons.
Instead of getting public transport we decided to walk there so that we could take in more of Rome, according to google maps it would take around an hour to walk. We knew it would take us longer though, as we love to stop and take photos.
Here are just a few photos from our walk!
I have always wanted to go to Rome, ever since I was a kid. And on my 23rd birthday my amazing wife surprised me with plane tickets to go and step foot where gladiators once stood!
So, after waking up and opening the curtains....then closing them slowly again as my eyes met with the office workers opposite while i stood there, toothbrush in mouth, just in my boxers, our planning of the day began..

We were inspired to travel to Berlin after watching Bridge of Spies, so you can say that we fell into that category too. We were also expecting Berlin to be really cold and thought we might freeze to death!
Upon exiting the airport we knew that we were so wrong...
