First Stop, Tulum ruins
We booked the day excursion with my cancun tours, choosing the plus package so that we had a light breakfast and unlimited drinks on board the coach.
We started the day with the famous Tulum Mayan ruins, famous for its Mayan history and gorgeous beach.
From the car park, the entrance is about a 15-20 minutes walk, but thanks to the plus package we were able to take the tractor 'train' that only takes 5 minutes, this was perfect as it was a very hot day.
Once we arrived at the Tulum ruins we were introduced to our expert tour guide who showed us around the ruins and gave us a brief history of the Mayan civilisation. Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Mayans.
1. Choose a hotel with a great view
We have been to Chatsworth House a few times for beautiful walks in the countryside and to their Christmas markets which we absolutely loved (especially when Brown & Blond were there) but we've always wanted to go inside. When we discovered they had their exhibition on fashion through the ages by Gucci we knew it would be the perfect time to go and visit!
